Panaji (Goa): The South West monsoons have reached Kerala today while it is expected to arrive in Goa on June 6.

State Met department today confirmed that the monsoons have already reached Kerala and is advancing towards Goa. The monsoon will hit Goa on June 6 with torrential rains.

Even as people were waiting for the monsoon, the pre monsoon showers continued hitting the state since last dropping the temperature in the state. Several trees were uprooted and seen on the road during the first rain.
