Goa Tourism is all set for World Tourism Day on September 27, 2018, and has lined up a variety of activities and programmes to celebrate the day.

 

According to a statement here on Tuesday, this year World Tourism Day is themed Tourism and Digital Transformation and all the initiatives undertaken by Goa Tourism revolving around digital transformation which has helped Tourism achieve great heights will be showcased across all platforms.

 

On September 27, Goa Tourism will be organising various programmes which will begin with the warm welcome of tourists at the Goa International Airport, Dabolim, along with a brass band and distribution of flowers and sweets.

 

Tourists will also be welcomed at the Konkan Railway Station, Margao, on Thursday morning. An entertainment boat cruise trip has been arranged for special children on the Santa Monica.
