Ex-Congressman Dayanand Sopte, who was recently inducted in BJP has said that he took the step of joining BJP for the development of his constituency and to provide employment opportunities to the youth in his constituency.

 Sopte further said that he was impressed with the cooperation received by CM Parrikar who helped him with various development works in his constituency.

“I have been promised charge of tourism department and a ministry which will enable me to carry out development works and provide jobs to the youth in my constituency,” Sopte said.

Sopte also said that he has been assured cooperation by ex-CM and former Mandrem MLA Laxmikant Parsekar.
