Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that he would not give in to the demands of the fish-traders unless they follow the directives of the FDA.

The health minister said that the vehicles are not entering the state because the traders have not registered with FDA and obtained a valid transport license.

The fish traders have targeted the state government for employing strict measures which creates hurdles for those who import fish without FDA clearance.
