Goa Building and Other Constructions Workers Welfare Board conducted a meeting on Friday and discussed plans for the creation of infrastructure with office space, facilities and other welfare facilities for the workers.

The meeting was chaired by labour minister Rohan Khaunte. Khaunte said that various schemes aimed at the welfare of the workers were discussed in the meeting.

Khaunte further said that an agency has been appointed as the consultant to guide the board with the implementation of schemes.

“The board is looking for a land for construction of new premises so that board can work efficiently with proper facilities for the welfare of workers,” said Khaunte.
