 Mopa Airport EPC Contractor MEGAWIDE has organised job fair on November 18 at Pernem Government Rest House. Youths from Mopa project affected villages have been invited for both skilled and unskilled jobs related to construction. Jobs like plumbing, electrician, carpenter, labour, painter, mechanic helper, technician etc have been announced for 3 months to 1 year on contract basis.

“In order to engage the people for the construction of Mopa Airport, a full-day job fair has been organised at Government Rest House on November 18. This job fair is open to all the village Panchayats of Pernem taluka especially for the project affected villagers of Mopa, Varkhanda, Chandel, Ugem, Kasarvarne and Ambere. There is a requirement for plumbers, electricians, carpenter, welder, traffic warden, mechanics, technical assistance etc. along with site engineers like civil, mechanical and electrical. In order to give wide publicity we have already written to the Mamlatdar of Pernem so that maximum benefit of the opportunity can be given to the people of Pernem,” Dr Suresh Shanbhag said.
