TENDER TO RE-DEVELOP MIRAMAR BEACH SCRAPPED

The tender worth Rs 9.3 crore, funded by World Bank, to re-develop Miramar beach has been scrapped by the state authorities.

Senior government officials have said that Society of Integrated Coastal Management (SICOM), which is carrying out the said project, will re-do the tender as per the discussions with Goa Beach Management Committee and Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd.

Under the project, SICOM had proposed installation of solar energy plant, jogging track, outdoor fitness equipment, public toilets, changing room etc.
