Goa’s Tanisha Crasto is headed for twin titles at the Yonex Sunrise 43rd Junior Nationals Badminton championships 2018-19, currently underway at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Tanisha along with her partner Ishaan Bhatnagar from Chhattisgarh played an amazing game to knock out India top seeds Sri Krishna Sai Kumar Podile / Srishti Jupudi in Under 19 Mixed Doubles Pre Quarterfinals, winning 21-18, 21-18 in straight sets, In the quarterfinals, they staged a sensational comeback from one set and 14-18 down in the second set to win the match, defeating Sai Pavan Karri / Preethi K 19-21, 21-19, 21-16.

In Under 19 Girls Doubles, Tanisha along with her partner Aditi Bhatt from Uttarakhand who are seeded number 5 in this tournament registered a comfortable 21-10, 21-11 win over Ishita Kumar /Manchander
Garima Singh in the pre-quarterfinals, followed by another impressive 21-17, 21-13 win over Preethi k / Priya Devi Konjengbam in the quarterfinals. .
