TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai has insisted on diversion of Cortalim-Margao traffic only after inauguration of new Mandovi bridge.

Sardesai has informed that he has convened a meeting with PWD Minister Sudin Dawlikar and PWD officials on December 28, Friday, to discuss on this traffic diversion. He further said that he has been discussing the diversion issue with the police and local residents and taking suggestions.

The TCP minister has suggested that the decision of road diversion should be implemented after January 7 as the festive season is in progress and there is a major flow of tourists.
