GOA MEN BEAT MANIPUR, DELHI AT NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Goa men’s team played well at the ongoing National Volleyball Championship in Chennai as they beat Manipur and Delhi with outstanding performances.

Goa won 25-13, 25-15, 25-14 against Manipur before overcoming strong resistance from Delhi in five sets, 25-18, 11-25, 25-20, 15-25, 15-11. Goa also beat Bihar, trailing 19-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

Goa Men’s Volleyball team: Rama Dhawasker (Captain), Aaron Pereira (vice-captain), Hanumant Lamani, Samir Jalmi, Kailash Balikar, Ashish Parab, Sarvesh Naik, Malik Rehan, Nitin Sawant, Utkarsh Dhawaskar, Viraj Sawant, Ambrose Pereira.

The team is coached by Surya Sawant and managed by Hugo Gonsalves.
