VAGATOR

In a fire incident at Vagator beach, a shack and a cloth store have been gutted incurring a loss of around 20 lakh.

According to firefighters, the fire brigade could not reach the spot to function efficiently as there was no road to take the fire engine.

There were 4 LPG cylinders in the shack out of which 3 were successfully removed by the firefighters. However, due to the explosion of one cylinder, the shack and adjacent cloth shop were completely destroyed in fire.

The reason for the fire has not been known and further investigation is on.
