Goa Forward Party chief and TCP minister Vijai Sardesai said that the BJP has to quickly find a solution to the mining issue otherwise the ruling party would have an adverse impact during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

“If the mining issue is not solved before Lok Sabha polls, the people will react against the BJP candidates,” Sardesai said.  

 “Mining is the backbone of Goa’s economy and it should restart immediately,” Sardesai added.

Sardesai is a minister in the Manohar Parrikar cabinet.
