It is indeed a different feeling when you come out on top after being selected from hundreds who came to win that one prize. Team TNV speaks to Neutral View Miss Goa 2018 OshinColaco as she reveals the hard work she put in to win the coveted title.
Q Many congratulations for winning the title, how is the feeling?
Thank you so much. Winning this prestigious title was an unbelievable feeling. A feeling that cannot be expressed in words, a feeling that I never experienced in my life before. I feel a step closer to want I want to achieve ahead.
Q Have you been in the modelling field before and how did you prepare for the pageant?
Being in the modelling field before gave me a plus point in preparing myself for the pageant. It also helped me focus on opening up my inner self and allowing me to give my 100%.
Q It was a rigorous three-day grind before declaring the winners, how did you manage to keep yourself motivated and deliver the best in you?
I believe in working on myself every day because consistency is what’s going to give me better results. So my secret of being upfront is to be confident, adaptable and with a calm sense of mind.
Q How was your experience with the Neutral View Mr and Miss Goa Pageant and how do you look at it as an opportunity for the Goan Youth?
The experience with The Neutral View Mr and Miss Goa was one of a kind. It helped me get the best out of me. The Neutral View Mr. and Miss Goa is a great platform and a huge opportunity for all the aspiring models of Goa. Where they mould and shape each one to get the best out!!
Q What do you think are the qualities required to be Miss Goa?
Confidence, adaptable, focus.
Q By winning the title you have directly qualified for the RubaruMiss India Elite how confident are you performing at the National Level?
Consistency in building on myself and staying focused on what I believe to do, will eventually build my confidence to a level where it’s unbreakable. So being confident and focused is very important.
Q Who has been your biggest support in life?
The biggest support in my life is my mom and a few friends who have always supported me throughout. They’ve made me believe that nothing is impossible if you work towards it with a firm dedication and faith in God.
