Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, complimented ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar as the “architect of modern Goa” and wished him a speedy recovery.

“I wish him (Parrikar) a speedy recovery. He is truly the architect of modern Goa and I appreciate his efforts even after being ill,” Modi said while responding to a question from a party worker during video conferencing.
