Sunaparanta in association with beej has announced `Moving Between the Lines’ –Kabir’s verses explored in Breath, Song and Movement with Sanjukta Wagh on February 5, 2019, 4 pm to 7 pm.
Supported by Fundacao Oriente this immersive session is designed for dancers, artists, theatre practitioners and anyone interested in performance art, to journey into the world of Kabir’s philosophy of the Truth of the present Moment.
Sanjukta will guide participants through a series of breathing exercises, movements melting into postures and integration of music & sound for an embodied, meditative experience of Kabir’s words.
Sanjukta is extensively trained in Kathak, Hindustani music, Theatre and Navrasa Sadhana. She studied contemporary dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London. Recipient of several awards and scholarships in performing arts throughout her career, Sanjukta was also curator for dance at Kala Ghoda Festival.
Sanjukta and her group will perform at the opening of Monte Festival on February 1.
