Unique Chess Academy & QuepemTaluka Chess Association will be organizing two All India level Chess tournaments in April 2019, under the chairmanship of Power Minister & President of Goa Chess Association Nilesh Cabral.
From 16th to 20th April “3rd Unique All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament” with a cash prize fund of Rs.4,10,000/- plus trophies worth Rs.75,000/- and from 21st to 23rd “1st Unique below 1550 All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament” with a prize fund of Rs.4,00,000/- plus trophies worth Rs.75,000/- at Government College Auditorium QuepemGoa.
The tournament is recognized by Goa Chess Association & All India Chess Federation.
Both these events will attract more than 1000 players from all over India and the surrounding countries.
Top Grandmasters and International Masters including Women’s GMs & IMs from India already confirmed their entries for 3rd Unique Chess Tournament.
Below 1550 rating tournament is a platform for unrated players to achieve Fide rating, & Fide rated player below 1550 to improve the rating & also win the tournament.
This is the 2nd highest prize fund tournament in Goa’s History.
