Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has said that the state government will have to find a way for the resumption of mining, TCP minister Vijai Sardesai informed after attending the cabinet meeting on Monday.

“The chief minister said the solution for the mining crisis should be worked out by the state government, however, he did not elaborate,” Sardesai said after attending the Cabinet meeting.

Since no solution is coming from the Centre, the state will have to find one, the minister quoted Parrikar as saying.

“The solution would be provided before upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” the minister said.
