The agriculture department has launched ‘PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi’ scheme for Goa at the hands of Agriculture Minister Vijai Sardesai.

The scheme assures income support to small and marginal farmers of Goa having cultivable land up to 2 hectares.

Speaking at the launching ceremony at Ravindra Bhavan-Margao, Sardesai said that income support of ₹ 6k/year would be directly transferred to the bank account of beneficiary farmers.
