The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has announced that it will appoint a coaching director and also audit the performance of players representing Goa in Ranji Trophy and other BCCI tournaments.

GCA president Suraj Lotlikar said while speaking to reporters after GCA’s annual general body meeting in Porvorim on Sunday.

Lotlikar said that a department would be set up to observe and analyse players’ performance and standardize coaching practices as per BCCI guidelines.
