Four Georgian nationals were arrested by police for breaking into a house at Siolim and stealing cash and other valuable items worth Rs 6 lakh, a police official informed on Thursday.

The accused were identified as Iura Pirelli (42), Lasha Gurchiani (46), Konstantinos Chkhaidze (46) and Irakli Tamliani (33), police inspector Navlesh Dessai told reporters.

“The accused broke into the residence of Maria Fernandes of Siolim and stole cash and valuables,” Dessai said.

Dessai further said that all the stolen items and cash were recovered.
