Full Name: Paras Arora

City: Yamuna Nagar (Haryana)

Age: 23

Qualification: 12th passed

Profession:  Acting/Modeling

TNV:  When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?

PA: I was studying. When I was in 12th class, I had won the title of Mr Eve. That was my first ever title. After that I started gaining interest & eventually started trying for ramp shows, fashion shows. This is how everything began and now I am very passionate about modelling.

TNV: Why modeling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?

PA: Well, you should do what your heart says. We can live a best life with lots of money but somewhere someday we regret for not doing what we are passionate about. It’s all about satisfaction and happiness.

TNV: Tell me about your first assignment, if any, and how did it happen? what was the experience like?

PA: One of the most memorable assignments was when I started my career in acting. I have struggled alot because I was new into acting. I have learnt acting by doing small acts on road. One day I did an act of abeggar just to improve my confidence and acting skills. That experience was really amazing; forgetting yourself and do what your heart says.

TNV: What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?

PA:  You see so many people on the road who have good body & good face but they are not models. I think models have to carry positive attitude because it’s the only thing that makes you different from others.

TNV: Why Rubaru Mr India when there are so many local pageants happening?

PA: Because it’s Mr India. It feels proud when you get a chance to represent your country at an international level.

TNV: Did Mr India happen to you along the way or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?

PA:I always wanted to be a part of Mr India from last 2 years. I was planning to give Mr India audition but I was not prepared. But this year I left everything and started preparing for Rubaru Mr india and luckily I got selected.

TNV:  Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like?what are the challenges involved?

PA: I am struggling from lots of things. I go to gym 2 times in a day and the most important thing is my diet.My family is supporting me mentally because i belong from a middle class family. So whatever I have saved I am using that money in preparation of Mr India.

TNV:  What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?

PA: Well, I have my stubborn nature and never give up attitude. I just work hard with dedication for my goals and I love to learn new and new things.

TNV:  How will winning the Mr india pageant affect your life?

PA:  After winning the Mr India, my life is going to change in all aspects as I will have a major responsibility of representing India on a world stage.

TNV: What are your thoughts on ‘Save Girl Child’ campaign?

PA: First of all, it should be done in rural areas and especially in the northern area of our country. I being a north Indian have seen girls suffering alot. People should conduct campaigns in rural areas where they can show and teach the people what a crime it is to kill a girl child. The mindset that a girl is a liability needs to be changed and this requires happening at the grassroot level.
