TNV: When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?
RK: I was waiting for my graduation results to start my Modelling career. I always wanted a degree as a backup. The next day after my degree results that is 2 years ago I shifted to Cochin and I attended auditions for ramps and got selected . It was my friend who helped me always by sending audition calls and always supported me .
TNV: Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?
RK: Nothing is as important as passion. The happiness and satisfaction you get from presuing your passion can never be substituted with anything else. Passion turns into purpose and one day it will become your profession
TNV: Tell me about your first assignment. if any How did it happen? What was the experience like?
RK: I lied to my parents that I want to join for MAT coaching and I shifted to Cochin Then on a fine morning my friend Raji Chechi sent me an audition link of a fashion show happening in Cochin marine drive. I attended the audition and got selected and walked my first ramp for the designer Jeeja madam. It was a wonderful experience and I learned my first lesson in modeling.
TNV: What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?
RK: The sincerity and effort I put in for the organisation or client I work for is a unique quality I have when compared to others. My sparkling brown eyes with joined eyebrows add more charm to my beaded face. A well chiseled body with symmetrical abs is always a unique feature that makes me a good model
TNV: Why Rubaru Mr india when there are so many local pageants happening?
RK: Rubaru Mr.India is the leading male pageant in the country. They have never failed in promote young talent in the past. They have the best crew with a complete package
TNV: Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?
RK: I was preparing for Mr India for the past 3 years. I was waiting for the best version of myself. Now I felt that I have the quality and confidence to represent my nation internationally. This confidence made me apply for Mr India this year.
TNV: Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?
RK: I get up early by 5 am with a alarm ‘Mr India’,I cook My post workout food and breakfast and go to gym. Mostly, I work-out twice a day with cardio in the morning and muscle workout in the evening. After coming from gym I go for my MBA classes. Then, evening again to gym , I prepare all my meals as I stay in hostel. I build up my confidence and language by doing presentations and seminars in class.The most difficult challenge for me was the evening workout after my hectic MBA classes and the extra assignments
TNV: What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?
RK: Winning comes not only responsibilities but also the ability to inspire and motivate people. I am a person who always loves to inspire and influence people. This quality of mine makes me different from others.
TNV: How will winning the Mr. India pageant your life?
RK: If I win Mr India of couse I will be proud and influential. I will be in a place where I can bring a change in the society.
TNV: what are your view an thought for cause camping of save girl child how you will educated to stop this in our country ?
Education is the most effective step when it comes to save girl child campaign . Making people aware that both men and women are equally important for the growth and development of the nation .Creating awareness program will help the minority who not aware about the value of this beautiful creation of god .giving proper education, care and employment can help people understand the importance of women in the nation .i wish women empowerment should be taken away from dictionary.
