TNV: Tell us something about yourself.

HP: My name is Hriya Patil and I’m 19 years old. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, 2nd year in Damodar College of Commerce and Economics and doing Company Secretary course (Executive level) simultaneously.

My hobbies include Dancing, Modelling, Acting, Listening to music, reading books, playing badminton, swimming and cycling.

I am also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer under my Guru Shri Lalan Desai.

 

TNV: What inclined you towards modelling ? Are you looking forward to it as a full-time profession?

HP: From childhood it has been my dream to be a known personality in the glamour world and seeing Indian beauties make India proud at international platforms instigated me towards this field. Yes of course walking on ramp has always been fun and if I get an opportunity to represent renowned brands and labels it will be cherry on the cake.

 

TNV: What was your reaction when you came to know that you were selected for Stellar Mr & Ms Goa 2020?

HP: I was looking forward to participating in this pageant from the time I came to know about it !

When I came to know that I was selected, I was on top the world as I was going to get grooming from the renowned faces of the fashion and pageantry industry ie. Prasad Pankar sir, Rahila Khan mam and Monty Sally sir. I knew that entering into this pageant would open so many doors of opportunities for me .

 

TNV: Have you participated in pageants before this?

HP: Yes I had participated in 2 of the pageants organized by Dazzle events. And also won the titles of Dazzle’s Miss India International 2019, followed by Dazzle’s Miss Asia 2019.

I was also the winner of Miss Pune Queen 2019.

 

TNV: How important winning this pageant is for you?

HP: Winning this pageant will not only transform my personality but will also make me a recognized personality which will give me a chance to voice out my views and opinions in order to bring about a change in this world and also influence and support each one out there.

And finally winning a pageant comes with a lot of opportunities which will help in building up my career.

 

TNV: Are you feeling any pressure?

HP: Yes a little! And I feel that it’s okay and in fact necessary sometimes to deal with pressure because that is what motivates you towards your final goal and makes you a strong person.

 

TNV: Your biggest support in life?

HP: My biggest support in life are of course my parents. It is because their love and support that I am what I am today ! They have done a lot for me and making them proud for all that I do, makes me the happiest.

 

TNV: Any quote or saying that has profound impact on you?

HP: A bird, sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking. Because it’s trust is not on the branch but on it’s own wings. Always believe in yourself !

This is one of my favourite quotes as I believe that, believing in yourself is the is the most essential ingredient in order to be successful. When you believe in yourself and accept your flaws, you can portray yourself confidently!

 

TNV: Any message for your friends and well-wishers?

HP: My friends and well wishers have always been my greatest support in all times ! I would really like to thank each one of them for being there by my side and supporting me always. Keep supporting me because I need all your love and support to achieve great heights ! It means a lot to me.
