Panaji (GOA): Over 2000 vacancies will be on offer to job seekers at the Mega Job Fair to be held on June 17 at Don Bosco Hall in Panaji.
The Job Fair organized by the office of the Commissioner, Labour and Employment, Regional Employment Exchange will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
“The objective of the fair is to increase employment opportunities for the job seekers and offer a wide range of selection to the recruiters from a large pool of registered jobseekers with diverse skills and educational profiles,” the press statement issued by government stated.
A total of 70 reputed companies from private sector are going to participate in Mega Job Fair with around 2000 vacancies to be on offer to jobseekers. Vacancies are available for both freshers as well as experienced jobseekers.
Job openings are available in different fields like IT, pharmacy, management, engineering, hospitality, retail etc. There are job opportunities for diploma holders, graduates and post-graduates as well as for ITI trainees and school dropouts.
Bosch, Cipla, Unichem Laboratories, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, IFB, Videocon, Persistent Systems, Commscope (Andrew Telecommunications), Marriott Resort, Park Hyatt and Manipal Hospitals are among the list of employers participating in the Job Fair.
The entry for the event is free. The jobseekers are expected to come professionally dressed and should carry at least 10 copies of their CVs.
