Panaji (Goa): In a very serious Human Rights violation, the Police personnel on election duty today, who have been working from 6am without any refreshment and lunch were sought to be served late at 4.45 pm the left overs as lunch, which our self-respecting Police rightly refused.

Social activist Aires Rodrigues who has been raising this issue has questioned “How many times does this Government requires to be reminded that Police Personnel are Human beings and should be so treated?”

He said : This government has been treating our Police force like dogs and wanting them to munch the stale crumbs that no animal would even dare to touch.
