PONDA (Goa): The sixth All India Hindu Convention is being held at Vidyadhiraj meeting hall of Ramnath Temple, Ponda on the topic of ‘Need for unity of Hindu community and Saints for establishing the ‘Hindu Nation’. The Convention commenced by blowing a conch. The lamps were lit at the hands of H.H. Sadhwi Saraswati, Yati Ma Chetananand Saraswati (national president of Hindu Swabhiman Matha, U.P.), H.H. (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale (national guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) and H.H. Nandkumar Jadhav (Dharmaprasarak of Sanatan Sanstha). The Convention is being attended by more than 538 representatives of more than 132 devout Hindu organisations from 21 States of India, along with representatives from Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

“The pseudo democracy imposed by the British on the nation will have to be done away with,” said Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Ramesh Shinde guided the audience on the subject of ‘role of establishing the Hindu Nation’. During the course, he said that today HJS, that has taken up the task of uniting Hindus and Hindu organisations at the national level, is being ridiculed as a fringe organisation. Today, there is no ban on those who give anti-national slogans, instead there is a demand to ban the All India Hindu Convention that is propagating the establishment of the Hindu Nation through democratic means.
