PANAJI (GOA): The Deputy Collector (DRO) D.O. for Flying Squad Team North Goa has issued a stop work order, directing to the concerned persons to immediately stop the work regarding illegal land filling being carried out in the property bearing Survey No. 92/3, 38/1, 38/3 and 39/1 at Merces-Ribandar road, New Nh4 (A) of Morambi-O- Grande Village, in Tiswadi.

The Dy. Collector has inspected the said site and reported that land filling is carried out on an area measuring 60.0X30.0X1.5mts (approx), area measuring 14.0X40.0X1.5mts (approx), area measuring 13.0X70.0X1.5mts (approx) and area measuring 100.0X55.0X1.5mts (approx) in the aforesaid survey numbers at Merces Ribandar road, New. N.H.4 (A) of Morambi-O-Grande Village, Tiswadi Taluka.

The order further directed the concerned persons to immediately stop the said work and to explain as to why action should not be taken for restoration of the said land, within two days from the receipt of this order.
