DAVORLIM (GOA): The newly elected panch member of Davorlim Panchayat, Bina Kulkarni, has already started addressing the issues surrounding her ward.

Speaking to team TNV Bina Kulkarni said that, her ward was lacking proper garbage disposal and a drainage system. “I will ensure cleanliness and regular maintenance of drains. Whatever schemes are announced by the government I will see that they are communicated to the people, and the people are able to take the benefits of these schemes,” said Kulkarni.

“Cleaning wells under ‘Nital Goem Nital Baim’ scheme will be my main aim,” said Kulkarni. “Davorlim Panchayat has a large number of migrant population and we will try to maintain a special register to keep track of their activity,” added Kulkarni.

She also said that she will work to develop an integrated market place for Davorlim as soon as possible.
