IMA GOA TO ADOPT 10 BABY GIRLS AND SPONSOR THEM FOR 14 YEARS

Mapusa (Goa): Indian Medical Association’s Goa branch in its commitment towards ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign felicitated twenty  mothers who had delievered baby recently at Azilo hospital, Mapusa.

On the occasion, Dr Kalpana Chodankar, Secretary IMA Goa, Dr Shekhar Salkar,  President IMA Bicholim branch, Dr Geeta kakodkar superitendent azilo hospital and staff from antenatal ward were present.

IMA Goa is also in the process of adopting 10 felicitated girl children and pay their annual

Rs 1,000  for 14 yrs under Sukanya  Yojna.

Each doctor will adopt the child and pay yearly installment till 14 years, IMA has announced.
