Gunwanti Paraste (Pune): Pune police have arrested two history-sheeters who were forced externment from the city limits for the criminal activities. Weapons were seized from them during their search.

Police have identified the accused as Akash Thorat and Anil Saswe, both of whom had faced externment proceedings. They were arrested at two different place by the police during night patrolling.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Police station two policemen Amol Pawar and Kundan Shinde who had got the tip-off had laid the trap under the supervision of senior inspector Vijaysingh Gaikwad to arrest the criminals.

Akash thorat was arrested near in Sacchi Mata Temple and Anil Saswe was near in Banglore-Pune Service highway road On Thursday.

Police said both accused are history-sheeters with links to Murder, attempt to murder in the city and they have been externed for the Pune city, we recovered two sharp weapons also. Both persons are involved in serious crimes like murder, attempt to murder, and robbery of a judge in the past. Both accused previously been booked in serious crime and was also externed from city limits for last one years.
