Gunwanti Paraste (SHINDEGAON|PUNE):  A shocking incident happened within Chakan police station jurisdiction. A 17-year-old girl was found dead mysteriously on Sunday morning in Shindegaon area of Chakan.

The girl was found in a pool of blood and in partially naked condition by her father. As per the complaint filed by her 50-year-old father who is a labourer, he had gone to work when the incident took place. The father of the deceased told the police that he stays with his two sons, a daughter and wife in Shindegaon. His wife and youngest son had gone to their native place and he was staying with his elder son and daughter in the house.

“I had gone to work and returned home at around 1.30 pm. My daughter was not at home and I started searching for her. My neighbour then informed that my daughter took an umbrella from her and had gone to answer nature’s call. After few minutes I found my daughter in an unconscious state with assault marks of sharp weapons on her head and face,” the girl’s father told police in his complaint. Chakan police has lodged a case under section 302(murder) against unidentified person in the case.
