Pune: Film and Television Institute of India, Pune held a book release and book reading session of FREEDOM: MY STORY,  autobiography of National Award winning filmmaker and FTII alumnus  Arunaraje Patil today in FTII campus.

The book release was done at the hands of Dr. Mohan Agashe, Ex-Director, FTII & acclaimed Actor, Sh Bhupendra Kainthola, Director-FTII and  Vandana Shah, lawyer.

After the book release, Dr. Mohan Agashe and  Vandana Shah, lawyer, read excerpts from the book along with Arunaraje Patil and held a conversation with her on the journey of her life. Arunaraje Patil interacted with the audience and answered their questions.

Arunaraje Patil is an alumnus of FTII and she is from 1967 batch of editing specialization. She said it was a momentous occasion for her as the book was released exactly 50 years after she entered FTII as a student.The book reading session was followed by the screening of film RIHAEE directed by Arunaraje Patil.
