Pune: A 26-year-old woman was injured after four unidentified persons allegedly sprayed some chemical on her face on July 1. The woman Anita Kamble has lodged a complaint against four person in the case at Pimpri police station. As per information given by police sub inspector Sharad Kale of Pimpri police  station who is investigating the case, the woman was under treatment at a hospital and so she lodged the complaint late.”She has suffered burn injuries on her face and we have booked four unidentified persons under section 326(Voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the Indian penal code” added kale.

Police said that the woman is frequently changing her statement which is making it difficult to investigate the case. As per initial statement of the complainant at around 4 pm the woman was on her way to work when four unidentified persons approached her. while two accused held her hands the other two sprayed some black chemical on her face which led to burn injuries.”The woman is safe and stays with her husband in Chinchwad.” added kale.
