Gunwanti Paraste (Pune): A 27-year-old man was arrested by the Talegaon MIDC police for allegedly killing his mother in Wednesdaynight in Indori village near Talegaon. The accused Pramod Yashwant Shinde was arrested by the Talegaon MIDC police after the incident. According to information given by the Talegaon MIDC police, Pramod’s neigbhours informed them about the incident on Thursday morning.

When police reached at the spot they found Pramod’s mother Chintabai(65) dead on the spot. Police sub inspector Vikram Pasalkar who is investigating the case said that Pramod had got married a year ago and was working in  a private company.”On Wednesday night when Pramod reached at his home there was verbal fight between him and his mother.Following which Pramod took a pillow and smothered her mother which led to her death” added Pasalkar.

Police suspect Pramod was in an inebriated condition while smothering his mother. The complaint in this case is lodged by Pramod’s younger brother.
Pramod stayed with his wife, mother and younger brother.
