Porvorim (GOA): A former naval personnel is amongst the three accused who are currently on run after Crime Branch raided a spa in Porvorim area busting a prostitution racket.

Crime Branch is on look out for Ravikant Yadav, resident of Karwar and native of Punjab, who is also an ex-naval personnel against whom there are already three FIRs pending.

Police sources confirmed that Yadav was booked  in two separate crimes — dacoity and attempt to murder — at Calangute police station and cheating at Mapusa police station.

Crime Branch had raided a spa at Porvorim last weekend arresting one person and rescuing a girl. Since the raid, three other accused who are wanted are on the run.

During the investigation, police have also got to know the role played by one Vipan Singh, native of Madhya Pradesh who also has two cases of cheating registered against him at Mapusa and Saligao.

Third accused Alam Shah of Uttar Pradesh was arrested three times by police and crime branch in prostitution raids. He is also booked in extortion case.
