He termed Trajano as “voice of Goan people” who was expelled by Congress party for question then Congress’ Goa Chief Luizinho Faleiro for failing to have alliance of like-minded parties to contest 2017 State Legislative Assembly election.
Trajano was expelled from Congress on April 26, 2017 for six years after he made public statements against Faleiro.
Sardesai said Trajano would play an important role in the party.
Addressing media persons after joining GFP, D’Mello said that he was waiting and watching GFP after it joined hands with BJP to form government in the State. “This government has shown respect to secularism and communal harmony in the state,” he added.
