MARGAO (GOA): Rajagiri Victor Hospital, Margao, announced the launch of the latest Hybrid Philips Cath Lab, inaugurated at the hands of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. Also present were Minister for Town & Country Planning Vijai Sardessai, Minister for Tourism, Babu Azgaonkar and Margao MLA, Digambar Kamat.

The cardiology department of the hospital is supported with an excellent ICU with 24×7 Intensivists to take care of patients. The Hospital has also recently started a programme for check-ups and the heart check-up enables patients to detect, in early stages, any heart problems, said the press note issued.

The Hybrid Philips Cath Lab that has been installed is an advanced equipment that provides the best image definitions of the heart and thereby enables the cardiologist to undertake a proper angioplasty and angiography.
