Porvorim (Goa): Congress party has said that they will allow the assembly to function till circular banning government officers from going to residents of MLA is not withdrawn.

Luizinho Faleiro said that this is not an ordinary circular but it is against the manate of people of India. It is against constitution, right of member of the House and against People’s representation act.

Former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat said that none of the government in past has introduced such a circular. “How can MLA function if the government officers are not allowed to come and sort out the issues of the people?,” he questioned.

The Congress has said they wont allow assembly to function till circular is withdrawn.
