Old Goa (Goa): The accident prone zone or say the ‘killer road,’ the oldest causeway linking Patto with Ribandar saw yet another accident this evening.

A 55-year-old Kishore Naik, riding a non geared bike rammed into a private local bus after losing balance on the speed breaker.

“The biker was on his way to Ponda via Old Goa from Panjim whereas the bus was traveling towards Panjim when Naik lost control on the speed breaker and banged into the bus,” a police official said.

The impact of the accident was such that the bike was damaged and the man died instantly.

The road stretch has often witnessed major accidents with the last one claiming life of a 21 year old.
