PANAJI (Goa): This Sunday, the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) will be conducting a trekking expedition to Shivling Falls at Valpoi, Sattari.

The Shivling Falls are nestled in a quiet little village in Valpoi. The total trekking distance is of 4 kms one way. This trek will take one through semi forested areas, uphill and down at some places. On the way one can sight beautiful butterflies, birds and experience the thrills of walking through stream of gurgling water, said the press note issued by GTDC.

The trekking expedition is open to all especially those with an audacity for a thrilling activity and adventure.

Transport arrangements have been made from Mapusa Residency at 9:00 am, Paryatan Bhavan, Patto at 8.30 am and Margao Residency at 7:30 am.

Registration fee is Rs 750/- (food inclusive)

Lunch will be provided.

Interested trekkers are requested to carry along an extra pair of clothes, rainwear, trekking shoes, snacks and binoculars. No smoking and consumption of alcohol will be permitted.
