MAH: 23-YEAR-OLD MEDICAL STUDENT KILLED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

PUNE: A 23-year-old girl who was pursuing her Masters in Medicine died after she was hit by a tanker while she was on the way to her college on a two wheeler near Magarpata city, Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Anuradha Pantulwar. Accoridng to information given by officials of Hadapsar police, the girl was heading towards her college, Maharashtra Aarogya Mandal in Hadapsar. She was staying in Bekrainagar and had gone to see a friend in Magarpatta. After meeting her friend she was passing from Magarpatta south gate when she was knocked down by the tanker.
Police sub inspector M Doke of Hadapsar police station said that the girl was not wearing a helmet and fell on her head.”She died due to head injuries” added Doke.
Police said that the girl was rushed to a nearby hospital but she succumbed to her injuries.
