VASCO (GOA): Manipal Hospitals Goa inaugurated a clinic centre at the premises of Goa Shipyard Ltd, Vadem, in South Goa today. The clinic was inaugurated by RAdm (Retd) Shekhar Mital, NM (chairman & managing director)Goa Shipyard Limited, in the presence of Girish Babu Bommakanti, unit Head at Manipal Hospitals Goa, and Dr. Shekhar Salkar, chief of clinical services and HOD oncology dep’t at Manipal Hospitals Goa.
The Clinic will be primarily for the staff and workers of Goa Shipyard Ltd and also will cater to the medical needs of people in and around Vasco and nearby areas. OPD consultation will be provided throughout the week on a daily basis by highly reputed team of doctors from Manipal Hospitals. There will be expert consultations by key specialists of Manipal Hospital Goa in general medicine (general physician), general/ laparoscopic Surgery, urology, nephrology, cardiology, oncology and other key specialties, said the press note released by Manipal Hospitals Goa.
