Calangute (Goa) Calangute police have registered an offence of attempt to murder early Friday morning after two accused persons namely Cepriano Rusar Heredia and his brother Rocky Rusar Heredia both R/o Divar, Tiswadi – Goa stabbed one Rohan Bhanudas Simepurushkar R/o Khobrawado, Calangute on Thursday midnight at Baga – Goa and further both the brothers fled from the spot.
Further police successfully apprehended both the accused persons and placed them under arrest and have booked them under section 323, 307 R/w 34 of Indian Penal Code. The victim Rohan Simepurushkar is undergoing treatment in Goa Medical College, Bambolim.
It is revealed that the accused persons and the victim had an enmity due to a fight earlier in the day. Later in the midnight the victim had come to assault one accused Rocky Heredia, however Rocky’s brother Cepriano Heredia came armed with a knife and further stabbed the victim Rohan Simepurushkar in the stomach causing him grevious injuries.
The accused brothers were produced before the Honble JMFC, Mapusa and 05 days police custody was contained. PSI Girish Padloskar is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Jivba Dalvi.
