GOA: WINGS OF HOPE; A MUSICAL EVENING FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN

PANAJI (GOA): Wings of Hope an NGO that empowers children who are intellectually and physically challenged organised a musical evening on Friday, July 28, at Dinanath Mangueshkar auditorium in Panaji.

The evening witnessed performances by students from Sanjay Centre for special education, Taught to Teach music school and Sharada Mandir school. The Highlights of the evening were Fado singer Sonia Sirsat and Kingfisher Voice of Goa winner Rapper Sabino Dias, synchronizing with these special children.

Speaking on the event, Founder Aishwariya Rane said, “I stared Wings of Hope foundation with my friends with the aim of ensuring equal opportunities for children with intellectual and physical disabilities in society. She further stated, “We have to accept that each one of us is different and it is this lack of sameness which makes the world a beautiful place”.

At the event, Founder Aishwariya Rane released her book ‘River of Emotions’ at the hands of Dr Johari which is a collection of poetry composed by her. Aishwariya Rane also recited a few of her poems.

The event attracted around 900 people.
