Panaji (Goa) In his usual style, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar dressed in a white formal shirt today walked to the temple of Godess Mahalaxmi to took her blessings before filing the nomination for August 23 by-election.
Flanked by his supporters including former Panaji MLA Siddharth Kuncolienkar, Parrikar took the blessings of Mahalaxmi and also went to Immaculate Conception Church in the city.
Addressing the supporters, Parrikar predicted more than 8,000 margin for him this time. He assured that city will have 365 day action plan which will address all the issues related to the capital city.
Parrikar said that the same action plan would be replicated in other cities of the State in a phased manner. He said that the issues of development, infrastructure, educational and personal problems would be tackled.
