GOA: MODERATE POLLING IN THE FIRST 2 HOURS

Panaji (GOA): The by-polling for Panaji and Valpoi assembly seat began with moderate turn out on Wednesday.
As per the Chief Electoral Office (CEO) for the first two hours, Panaji recorded 17.67 percent voting, while Valpoi was litter higher side at 20.41 percent.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, the BJP candidate from Panaji was amongst the early voter to cast his vote.
The polling began at 8.00am across 76 polling stations. The polling will take place through VVPAT and EVMs.
CEO office expect that the finally tally of voting would be out by 6.00pm, hour after the voting ends officially.
