MAH: FTII’S FIRST FILM APPRECIATION COURSE IN UTTARAKHAND CONCLUDES

PUNE: A 5-day film appreciation course (23-27 August 2017), first in Uttarakhand, conducted by FTII in collaboration with Dev Sanskriti Vishwvavidyalay (DSVV) ended in the temple town of Haridwar, today.
A total of 73 participants were presented participation certificates by Dr Chinmay Pandya, Pro VC, DSVV and Pankaj Saxena, course director, in the presence of prof. Sukhnandan Singh, head of dept, dept of journalism and mass communication, DSVV.
FTII’s new outreach initiative SKIFT, with a mission to democratise film education by conducting short courses across the country, has seen foundation courses in film appreciation, screenplay writing, acting, basic acting workshop for children and digital cinematography being conducted in Mumbai, Delhi, Srinagar, Jaipur and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
