Panaji (GOA) The additional portfolio allocation to the cabinet Ministers will take place after Anant Chaturdashi, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said.
Speaking to reporters, Parrikar said that additional portfolio allocation could not take place now as the Governor was not available.
“After the Anant Chaturdashi I will allocate the additional portfolios. Take another week fromSeptember 5,” he said.
Parrikar already had two round of portfolio distribution to his eleven cabinet ministers.
These include Francis D’Souza (Urban Development & Law and Judiciary), Pandurang Madkaikar (Power & social welfare), Ramakrishna Dhavalikar (PWD &Transport), Manohar Azgaonkar (Tourism & sports), Vijay Sardessai (town and country planning & Agriculture), Vinod Palyekar (water resources & fisheries), Jayesh Salgaocar (Housing & RDA), Rohan Khaunte (Revenue & IT) and Govind Gaude (Art and culture & Tribal welfare).
Only Vishwajit Rane and Mauvin Godinho are allocated single portfolios that are Health and Panchayat respectively.
