PARRIKAR, VISHWAJIT TAKES OATH AS MLAs

PANAJI (GOA) Chief minister manohar parrikar and health minister vishwajit rane were on Monday administered oath as the member of the State legislative assembly.
Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant today morning administered oath to Parrikar and Rane, who got elected during the by-election held on August 23.
Parrikar got elected from Panaji and Rane from Valpoi assembly constituency.
Parrikar on Sunday resigned as Member Of Parliament Raj Sabha from Lucknow assembly seat.
With this the State assembly is now full strength with 40 MLAs; this include 14 from BJP, 16 congress and three each from MGP, Goa Forward Party and Independent.
