Panaji (GOA) The Bombay High Court at Goa today directed Captain of Ports (CoP) to submit the report on the time period that would be required to undertake the underwater damage survey of the Lucky 7 casino vessel, grounded at Miramar beach.

The directions were issued following objection raised by CoP to the plea filed by owner of Luck 7 casino vessel – Golden Globe Hotels Pvt Ltd seeking permission to anchor the vessel at Panjim jetty for undertaking the survey.

CoP stated that the survey is time consuming and hence cannot allow the vessel to come at jetty.

The Court last month had directed the casino owner to remove the vessel as soon as possible as it was leading to damage to the beach.

The vessel got grounded at Miramar beach on July 16.
